You might not have been planning to become a parent right now, and it can be overwhelming to think about or even scary. At Waterleaf, we understand where you’re at and we are here to support you.  We want to help you navigate and explore the possibility of parenting.

Am I ready to parent?

If you are facing an unplanned pregnancy, you likely have not considered becoming a parent before now. You likely have a million questions rushing through your mind. To help you slow down and begin processing, we suggest starting with a few basic questions.

  • Will I be able to continue with school or my career?
  • What support systems do I have to help me raise a child?
  • What resources are there to help me financially support a child?
  • Am I in a safe or stable situation to raise a child?

These are just a few questions to help you start organizing your thoughts. At Waterleaf, our staff is here to help you process your options and answer your questions about parenting.

What resources are available to me?

Parenting can seem daunting. We want to serve you, but also help you get connected to other resources in the area.
